What scans are required?
We require a CBCT scan and an intraoral scan (Trios, iTero, Primescan, etc.) or plaster models. For full-arch cases, please also provide patient photographs, including one full-face smiling photo and one close-up retracted smile photo.
I want to minimize radiation exposure for my patient. What is the minimum field of view needed for a single implant guide?
We recommend the largest possible field of view. This ensures accurate merging of CBCT and STL files. A limited field may compromise planning accuracy, potentially requiring a rescan, which increases radiation exposure.
What kind of DICOM files do you need?
We accept DICOM files from all CT machines.
How do I compress (zip) a folder?
Locate the folder you wish to compress. Right-click (or press/hold) the folder, select Send To, and then choose Compressed (zipped) folder. A new zipped folder will be created in the same location.
What type of digital impression scanners do you use?
We work with all digital impression scanners.
What is the difference between IOS and PVS models?
Intraoral Scanner (IOS): A digital scan of the patient’s mouth, submitted electronically.
Polyvinyl Siloxane (PVS): A physical impression material that can be sent to us, which we then convert into a digital file for planning.
What are the steps for the dual scanning technique?
Please watch this video to correctly perform the dual scanning technique.
